Steeze has nothing to do with "style and ease"

I'm clearly just here to talk shit tonight.

Steeze is just 90s slang for style. Stop spreading falsehoods.

Also anybody hitting Northstar this Saturday?

Nobody said Steeze in the 90s

Oof, embarrassing. There are too many examples to list, but let's get straight to the easiest one: ever heard of the Wu Tang Clan? Gza dropped a lil gem called "Shadowboxin" featuring Method Man in 1995, which featured the line "you know my steeze" - which then got sampled and became the hook for a 1998 Gang Starr cut called - you guessed it - "You Know My Steeze".

My Apple Maps has me there in 1 day and 14 hours

so no, I will not be at northstar

I'll probably ride for a bit in the morning cause friday night is my friday actually. Depends on the weather and my mood after work though.

early 2000s-2010s, not the 90s. People still stay "steeze" to this day. Though less used, people still say it very often.

Also you just contradicted yourself. Saying that it doesn't mean "style and ease" and then saying it means "style"? Same thing bro, you just removed the "ease" from it.

Nah it was 90s for sure, or do you think I made up those songs I listed? We were all on Meth's nuts in the 90s, so that's when all my friends were saying steeze anyways.

But you're right, I did phrase it kinda weirdly. Point is, steeze just means style, not "style and ease".

It's whatever, just funny to see slang resurface and get redefined.

Show me anything and anyone (not in form of song) outside of those two music examples from LATE 90’s saying the word steeze...

it just wasn’t a thing people said
