ArmadaFreerider8, your saying the steelers got lucky? how many offensive TDs did the jets get yesterday? When he returned that int he got lucky, when moss returned that punt, he got lucky. i would say the jets didnt even deserve to get to OT with how they played.
as for the patriots, i hate them... with a passion. they are a great football team, but they struggled when they played the steelers this season and lost as a result of it. But what makes them shitty in my opinion is an embarassing monday night loss to the fish. there is no excuse on this one because they had all their players in, unlike the eagles who didnt have westbrook, owens, mcnabb and most of their best defsensive players in those last couple games. the patriots are good, but they will not win this super bowl, they lost to the best and 3rd worst teams with starters in, no excuses.

You fucking idiot, luck is not returning a punt, luck is not returning a INT for touchdown, that's fucking talent; and a team effort. Good blocking to set up the Punt return and a great return by Moss; the INT was caused by the confusion the Jets caused to Rothlesberger, then great blocking down field to help Tounge return the INT.
Missing 2 field goals is just being plain stupid. Those 2 field goals had nothing to do w/ the talent of the Steelers it's just getting lucky

I posted this message in the NFL predictions post but it definitely deserves to be in here too.
The steeler's coaching was absolutely horrible against the jets yesterday. They changed a lot of their game plan, and thats why the game was so close. Almost every play in the first half, the steelers had an empty backfield set. I've rarely seen this from them the entire year. The coaches need to realize that Ben was off of his game, and that there is no reason for them to be calling 25 yard pass plays. If they stick to their run game, and pick and choose their passing options they will beat the pats for sure.
The steelers defense is incredible, they held the jets to only 3 points the entire game. The steeler's 3-4 defense really allows the linebackers to work very efficiently. Farrior and Porter have played outstanding all season long. Even though the secondary doesn't have all the big names, they work extremely well as a unit. Willie Williams had 10 tackles against the jets.
And as for the whole luck thing, yeah the steelers did sorta luck out of that game. But the jets were too. Some of you act like Tongue made an absolutely outstanding defensive play on that int-return for a TD. Roethlisbeger literally threw it directly to him. Not to mention they beat the jets in almost every statistical category:

the only good superbowl game is going to be eagles vs. pittsburg.
if the falcons win they will get destroyed by either the pats or steelers because they will shut vick down.
if the eagles win they would be able to throw the ball against the patriots easily. i know your going to say the pats shut down the pass from manning, but come superbowl owens will be back, westbrook will probably healthy, mcnabb will now have more trust in fred ex and pinkston, and LJ smith with get alot more action as well, mcnabb can also run the ball manning couldnt so they didnt have to worry about him. the steelers would be able to stop the eagles offense so i would say the steelers would win it.

^ hahahahahahaha what a fucking idiot. Yeha that deadly Eagles passing attack. Owens at 50% and what ever shitty guys they got left. Incase you didn't realize McNabb is not even close to the level as Peyton, Harrison is just as good as Owens and Wayne and Stoakley could be #1 recievers on other teams. Plus Dallas Clark and Pollard are good TE's. Oh yeah the Pats stopped Edgerin James who is like 50 times better than Westbrook
