did anyone else notice how much he changed as a person and in skiing from last year's movies to this year's movies?

who are you to say that he changed as a person? i've known steele for a couple of years and he is the tightest person/skiier around. i skiied with him the other day and he is the coolest dude to be around not only because he's one of the best skiiers in the world but because he's hilarious and doesn't let the fact that he is so good go to his head.

i'm not trying to spaz out.. after i wrote that i thought you might take it that way. i'm just saying he is a tight dude and he hasn't changed despite how he is depicted in films. sorry if you thought i was being a dick.

 
yeah man, steele is one of the most genuine people i know. he's got the best attitude and he has his own style - doesn't try to copy the others. plus its been a pretty difficult year for steele. he lost a couple of really close friends.

 
i don't think he changed at all. i think you just got to know him as a person a little better - especially in RFA.

i met him at the denver diner with one of my friends who grew up with steele. he seemed pretty fuckin cool. if you watch his segment in superpark 1, and then in rfa, you can tell that he was more outgoing in front of the camera.
