Steel Double Barrel Help

I tried searching through "build a jib" and I also posted this there, but I wasn't getting any responses.

So..

Today I got two 14' steel pipes from work and two 10' ones for supports or whatever.

I was wondering what the best design would be for making a double barrel

and what other supplies we would need. My friend can weld but we cant

think of a good design. Any help would be great

depends how long you want the rail to be and how high you want it to be. if you have a kid that welds just draw up some basic shit about it. 2 feet off the ground, cut the supports for that then use whatever full running lenght you have left over to weld to the supports? add some feet to it or possibly burry it in the ground, i dont know your backyard/setup.

basic mechanical skills here man.

you have a welder man, go nuts with it. you know it can join two pieces of metal together right? what were you thinkin of duct tape?

Oh thats what welding does??

Im not a fucking idiot i was just looking for some help so that dont waste 48 feet of steel that i got.

Ya my friend was thinking of putting an inch between the two pipes, but I think putting them against each other would work better.

ya, make a shotgun rail, if you leave an inch between, its gonna do weird shit when you switch up and hook an edge between them ....^^or leave a bigger gap in between and put HDPE between to make a box ...
^^if you have a pipe bender you can make a c-rail, rainbox, rollercoaster, whatever, let your imagination go, you got some sweet materials to start with .... :)

altough a simple flat rail is prob. gonna be the funnest, maybe single or double kink, depending on how good you can ski already :)

Ya im gunna start with a flat rail, but he is looking at getting a pipe bender so we might make some more.
