Stedicam Curve vs powered gimbal poles

Looking at a few different options for shooting with a GoPro, is it worth it pitching the extra money for a Feiyu G3 Ultra or do any of you have experience with a StediCam curve.

Get a ski pole.

I pulled a ski pole out of a garbage can and used it for 2 years. It was free, and the footage looked FINE.

i use a g4, (used in my newest edit) footy looks really good but it costs a lot, its all about how much you think youll use it

You will get way smoother (with practice) shots and more creative angles with a glidecam type setup. Those brushless motored gimbals are limited to what they can do sure you get a smooth shot but I've used em and hated them. Have you seen an edit using a powered gimbal with anything other than a follow cam or stationary. Pans tans tilts non existent with them

this, the edits ive seen with powered gimbals look like your using google street view. What mantoast said get a glidecam type setup, you will be able to get much more creative shots. Heres the link to the glidecam made for gopros, its very cheap and works well from what i've heard
