Steamboat

wow colin, way to be on top of things. i am over the cheese phase of my life. now it is all about welches fruit snacks.

interesting idea. that would be sick. hopefully whistler and mammoth get thrown in for employees. whatever happens it is going to be way better than ASC.

Holy fuck ya'll...we are having a blizzard here on the front range. They are callin for 24-30 inches here in Fort Collins and all I know is we've gotten more than a foot in the last 3 hours. There are gonna be like 5 foot snow drifts. The winds are like 40-50 mph! Holy Shizer. Let go hit some rails tomorrow!

u just gotta look man.. hike up past the xmas bowl and go down entrance to north st pats and go like diagnal to the right and you should come out near it. its right next ot this short open chute and the cliff is about 10-15 depending where you jump off of it its legit

yeah there are some cliffs scattered all throughout norh st pats. just take a few lines in different parts of it and you will find them

so i just found out my girlfriend's aunts brother is a local at steamboat, i guess he teles in warren miller flics. i'm gonna be there from the 7th-13th so hopefully i can ski with him a few days. anybody ever ski with dan gilchrist?

So I'm gonna be at Steamboat tomorrow through Friday... I've never been to the mountain... what park is the best right now... What are some good runs? Thanks guys... maybe I'll see you out there!

word

Tom and sense don't usually come together in the same sentence... Tom is usually associated with: your mom, i'll cut you, da bears, and your face...

go to sunshine express after it snows they usually got soem good pow in the trees and got over to xmas bowl north st pats its legit search round the backside for stuff to fool around on... stay away from sundown express get packed and once your way up high stay up there cause its a bitch to get back up

Anybody got any good tips on finding some cheap tickets to the hill? Does anybody ever scalp them mid day in the parking lot?

Any tips on some places to hike up on the Rabbit Ears pass?

Expect to get reamed in the ass HARD when it comes to lift tickets...you really will not find any discount lift tickets at Steamboat, so expect to pay full price (74 to 81$ depending on when you're here). As mentioned, the Boat cracks down hard on people selling their lift tickets so don't really expect any sort of hook up.

As for cliffs, there are some small ones inbounds in St. Pats and East Face, but if you're looking for some truly legit shit you gotta go out of bounds into Fish to find it. Hells Wall goes 80 to 90 feet I'd say, so there are some big cliffs out there...

^ word the small cliffs are fun to mess around on and try stuff... is it easy to get back in bounds if you go out cause i didnt go out last year but i saw some sick stuff i wanted to hit but didnt go

big jumps this weekend. check out the size of the decks/landings sometime this week. fun stuff.

more rails goin in each day.

rough rider & sunshine parks opening up soon, mainly just rollers and tiny shit.

wow, i didn't have any internet for like 4 days and am totally behind in this thread. ummmmm... i decided i didn't have enough footage to make a solid movie last year so i am putting it off for this year. ummmm... big jumps look good. tanner barr is a head case, we all know that. and i think my cousin's best friend's dog's friend's owner might know that one dude.

"and i think my cousin's best friend's dog's friend's owner might know that one dude."

hahah dfj i love it...

yeah dude park is up, but not big jumps yet...talk to tom about it, he's got the downlow (or so he things muahhaha) on it.

wowza thats alot of jiberish that i'm gonna post...beware of the monkey!
