....depends on what your into... I guess if your into huge lines, packed parks, packed lines, and tons of a-holes, breck is sweet!!!! If you can put up with all of that then their park is way sweet...but then again there are a TON of denver folk out there
 
yeah...they have one of the best pipe/parks in the country... and i agree with you on everything else too...

on a side note...since no more jobby, i'm gonna be makin it to the boat soon.....are ya'll fools ready to do some serious filming or what?
 
I know someone who emailed steamboat about opening the upper mountian, and they siad they were planning on opening it the 15th.
 
Rumor has it Sundown/Sunshine is going to open on the 9th..... that's the first I've heard about opening of the upper mountain. Kinda sucks, but business as usual here

 
i love steamboat, but i love Crested Butte even more. It just has the terrain that steamboat doesn't have, but steamboat is really nice
 
idk about sundown... they are scheduling to open up pioneer on sat. I don't think its gonna happen though, unless we get another storm.

Last thursday and this weekend there was some awesome early season powDAR!!!!
 
longest i waited in line last year at 8 was about 4 minutes cause the lift stoped. if youre cool with people there, its not an issue. but if you are a jackass on the other hand, enjoy that 10 minute line. you need the break to cool out!
 
the skier's left, medium size jumps are opening on monday; 3 jumps, 5 rails. pipe should be open in about two weeks with the rest of bashor bowl to follow that shortly.
 
i'm going to steamboat with ohio state ski club tomorow, can somebody update me on the park situation??? i'll be pissed if theres not at least a 50 foot table.

haha, your gonna be mad. Dude i don't think that anyone in colorado has a 50 footer right now. Breck and key have jumps but idk about 50 feet
 
I think everything is gonna need some tweakage this week, maybe have em finalized by weds or thurs. Shit is gonna speed up big time once it hardens up. No more eagles nest crap, that stuff is gone, woohoo. Trying to get more rails up this week, definitely have a bunch out by wednesday.
 
they also have two smaller jumps in freeway now. like 35-40 feet. plus, keystone's jump line is the sickest shit ever. i am over steamboat. moving to summit.
 
scratch that. 2 more rails up today, another 1 or 2 up tomorrow. Jumps will be changed thurs night, along with the addition of a new line of smaller rails & jumps.
 
the site is still old from last year... update should be really soon though. On the 5th the web dudes were workin on it, so any day i'd imagine.

rail jam the 29th...hopefully the get some good judges.. muhahhahhahahha
