Dirt work is well under way on the regrading of the bashor bowl and setting up for the new pipe. The Zaugg has been purchased.....word of Tara.....and Casson *knows* we actually have it this time....stoked on that. :)

Probably a meeting in sept about the entire setup, so thats when I'm going to drop my agenda i've been formulating all summer. casson also said the meeting last year in november didnt go well since the park crew was "combative". Ahem gary pierre....yadda yadda. I wasnt at that meeting thats for sure.

So everything going smooth. Only major thing about the park still left, is the Fat man must be dethroned. I shall achieve this goal monday.

Dirt work for pipe looks near finished. And for all you kiddies, there will now be mountainwatch kiosks at thunderhead lift base, and sundown express base. hahahaha.

any word on the wallride heath was so pumped about trying to build over the summer?? or how about a park crew shed?? anything new other than the zaugg and dirt work for the pipe??

havent heard crap about anything along the lines of a wall ride. park crew shed is a no, However, a huge 2 story storage/garage facility is being built to slope maintenance(which now includes park), so more space for sleds, lockers, rail construction, etc....not everything packed into the current shop.....so that will open things up alot. (Don't really know when the construction of that is going to happen, but i would imagine soon) I haven't really grilled anyone about park yet, but probably will next week. Alot of people tied up right now working on all the new snowmaking pipe n shit thats going up by thawk and over to vogue.
 
mavericks superpipe in mid march, and then two rail jams sometime that are kinda invite only. probably some USSA and USASA comps that come thru also.
 
I think that Sara told me that there are gonna be 5 comps this year. I think there is a jeep rail jam, the mtn dew vertical challenge thing, then 2 steamboat rail jams, and the superpipe comp

some ppl have tried to go to buff...i'd rather wait a few weeks than hit a stump and mess up the whole season or something like that. I think that summit has gotten more snow than us so far...idk for sure though
 
not like everyone is rushing up there to shred the gnar and make some turns.....I get 90% of the people just go up to hit that box and whatever else is set up there, on some open mellow area. not worth the time of the drive for me. id rather hit an overcrowded abasin/loveland park. haha
 
rabbit ears no, buff yes. there is some shit up on buff. someone was telling me they even built a hip up there and it was fine. i wanna try something this weekend. urban i am thinking. something gnar to start the season. my new crib is the closest condo in the pines to the ore house. word up.

Daniel, don't forget to sign up for the open or if you don't wanna compete, get a press pass for BDP. We are gonna get a phatty ski/out condo at Copper for like 4 days and your comin....
