Hey Steamboat crew, what is everyones plans for this summer/next year? As of now I am moving to truckee in the fall, but I should be here for the summer.

Those of you who are staying here, you should definately head over to the water ramps this summer. It's a great place to spend time during the summer if you ski/board, a fun place to train and the coaches are good, i'm sure most of you already know some of them.....oh yeah, did I mention you can hang out with me there too? Booyah

As far as this summer and next season...Now, it looks really good and I think I'll be competing in Montana this summer if all goes accordingly..next season I will be training pipe all season at breck mostly. If echo mountain park ends up with a superpipe next season, I'll be there, but living in Fort Collins i think...
 
truckee eah? i'm not sure, what i'm doing yet. But yeah this summer i want to hit up the water ramps and work on/and be able to do everything i can to the left, right side by the end of the summer! EVERYTHING! but yeah, lets not talk about the summer... that means that skiing is going to be over, and we still have a good 5-6 weeks left, plus some hiking! but yeah whats the deal for toinght? slope?
 
I'm just stoked I can ski with you guys when I come out now...I dunno about goin to hardcore, I'm on a strict rehab plan, but I can't wait to get on the snow, shit.

i'll be there too, but unfortunatly i am not allowed to bring my camera to work with me. something about doing more filming than working, so now i will just do more skiing than working.
 
Hey jensen, if you want to get some filming done tomorrow i'll be there with a camera, filming tom and whoever else shows up. Def no prob filming you as well, i'd really like to get all the steamboat crew for my vid, and if you guys want/need your footage for your own projects no problem.

wow... so it was way to warm today. I hate this one ski crap! sw rodeo 9 one ski... NO GOOD!

also what happened with the park, I was up racing (yes i was racing for our company race) and there was like no on in the park, and Tara told me it was closed or something. Then i ran into some kids at the bottom taht said it was closed...so i guess it closed..hahaha
 
the lift broke down again, someone forgot the AAA batteries! GEeeeeewwwwwwwwwww!

Cailean broke his pistols in half. Tom likes snow and goggle tans. Andrew likes one ski switch spins. Laura likes overrated 3's on big jumps. I like bending my breaks on broken 5's.
 
FUCK THE PIPE!!! I am sick of being nice....because I tore the ligaments in my right hip because i decked out so bad and got tossed into the flat bottom. I am SO fuckin pissed off that I just got healthy and now am hurt again. I'm outta here.

PS-no offense to the park staff-its not your fault the mountain doesn't have their shit together--you guys do a good job of working with what you've got.
 
sucks gina, I know how being injured all the time sucks...I also know how much Steamboat disregards the pipe...They would say, that because it's twice as long as every other pipe, that it's twice as hard to maintain therfore taking twice as much time...I told 'em like 2 years ago, FUCK having the longest pipe in NA if you can't maintain it! Cut the bitch in half, so then you have no excuses...
 
yea pipe sucks, mavericks cancelled as well woooo. im just about done for the season anyway, hip and ankle are fucked up.....hitting the road on the road gap certainly didnt help either of those today.....hopefully we can take all the snow from the first set and the qp and build one big real table for the last week or two. thats all i really care about now
 
OK.... everyone just needs to drink a little. It will be ok! Yes I agree the pipe kinda sucks this year, but i think the jumps are pretty fun. Gina where have u been, I havn't seen u in forever! umm.... i forgot what i was going to say.... o yeah, mavericks superpipe comp is officially canceled. maybe still a rail jam around then. as far as the pipe goes, yeah it pretty much sucks but even that day gina got hurt was like the best it has been all year. i think over half the girls in that comp ended up getting hurt. by the way, i love all the ghetto gaps we got goin' in the park now. pretty awesome.
 
Don't forget about the walk-way gap at Andrew's house. That thing is dope!

blah, no pipe comp, cancelled rail jams...what the heck are they doing? lame. Time to head to Breck, or Whistler, or somethin.

I'm pretty sure the thing tom is talking about is the gap from the step downs, and you can jump the in run, and the farther away from the jump you go the bigger it gets.

When do u get to steambaot? isn't it suppose to be tomorrow? (well i guess today)

and yeah ryan, u talking about the gap off the roof... that would be sweet! also yeah i still want to do many more comps before the year is over! got the wp stuff up on profile!

Ok I was out there last friday to monday and do you get a flake of snow, no. hten on tuesday it finally starts snowing. Ne way the park is wayy better than it was two years ago but the pipe still sucks. i cant wait to get back out there again. o yea and whoever that kid was in the oakley pants, hes good as hell, he was going off.
 
I've got oakley pants, with the writing down the side....probably wasn't me though...
