Steamboat

Scholarship Day is Wed. $25 or so tickets to benefit SSWSC. Conditions are looking real good. Heard they are gonna open at least up to Burgess Creek lift, so plenty of terrain for first day.

steamboat's park fucking sucked today. i wouldn't even call it a park, just a few 6 foot boxes, 1/2 a mini pipe, and some shitty ass jumps

So much fun. really surprised with how many rails/jumps there were. A good time just messin around on the mini jumps and workin on rail trickz

I'll be there January 9th-14th, if anyone wants to show my little brother and I around for a couple hours or even just message me the areas where an east coast skier will get the most out of his trip west I'd really appreciate it.

Our park is looking sick. Crew has busted ass and turned Rabbit Ears into a medium jump heaven. Big jumps in Mavericks are also pretty smooth. Also Bashor has the coolest lift ops on the hill. No waiting and lots of hucking.

Does anyone think it's worth it to drive up tomorrow from Denver? My friend and I are considering going but I hurt my knee last weekend and I'm only willing to make the trek if the snow is still pretty good. I know it can get warm on the mountain during the day and cause the snow to condense a bit. What do you think?

yep couldnt get out of my 8am and decided I didn't want to pay $95 to ski for 3.5 hrs...

deciding whether to its worth it to pay to ski thursday. another 20-30" between now and thursday morning. if anyone also needs motivation to make the drive I'd be down.

part of me is thinking of driving to jackson wed night or real early thurs morning to ski thursday. 7 hours each way is a lot to ski 1 day tho...

Its nearing 60 inches since sunday afternoon. Forcast is calling for non stop snow until friday... i'd say its pretty worth it to get your fucking ass up to steamboat

yeah already made the decision for steamboat thursday as a friend has a house to stay at up there. anyone got a hookup on a pass? or can go to the ticket window with me to get a half price ticket? id be willing to pitch a little cash/bowls

anyone in town interested in buying some 179 Hellbents? They also have a marker griffon demo binding on them so you can jump right in em. I have really only used them a few times, I almost always prefer to use my CRJs, so they are in pretty awesome condition. these skiis could come in handy these days, epic conditions this week. 400 bucks. Let me know.

Yeah once we get some snow they will open more shit. For the amount that we have right now though, the setup at the bottom is real fun
