Steamboat or Keystone?

Alrighty guys, its come down to these two places for spring break, and i need to decide. I wanna hit keystone this year again since they have a totally bitchin park, plus have a great village for my parents to relax in. The new Indy bowl is also a plus. Only bad thing is the crowds, and lack of steeps on some of the blacks.

Good things ive heard about Steamboat is that they have a decent park, steeps that will make you shit your pants, and less crowds.

I just cant decide on which to hit up this year.

Any suggestions?

I've never been to keystone, but i went to steamboat last christmas. Steamboat was alright, when i went the park kinda sucked and i only got one mediocre powder day so i wasn't too impressed. I live near tahoe so the resorts are completely different, and so is the attitude of the people. I dunno, keystone looks dope and its not nearly as isolated as steamboat. I say go to keystone.

steamboat is mediocre in everything except for snow and tree skiing which it is amazing for...it definitely doesn't have steeps that will shit your pants, but then again neither does keystone

steamboat has a decent park, but nothing on the level of breck or keystone. the steeps will definitely NOT make you shit your pants. the lines in steamboat are far less than keystone and the mountain is way more fun to ski. steamboat is the best resort when it dumps and you can blast through the trees all day. seeing as your coming in spring break that probably will not be the case, but it has happened at that time of year before.

Keystone. Most everything about Keystone is better minus trees, etc but you get the best park, and easy access to other resorts. Breck is within 15 minutes, Vail about 30.

depend on if they are gonna get snow or not. keystones park is amazing, while steamboats is ok, its definatly not bad and sometimes its really fun, but you cant beat keystone. but steamboat on a powder day is the best ever, the backcountry is so good, some parts are just constant drops with spreadout trees, some is crazy steep with lots of trees, and there are some pretty big sized cliffs there too. the only thing is if you really want to find all the good stuff you need to hike alot. like if you go throuh the backcountry acces gates you may have to hike for like an hour back out, but its worth it cause its so amazing.

its the perfect place for bc jibbing.

i wne tot steamboat this past year and their jumps were dope and thier rAILS WERE MID TO high decent, a park in the east probably had the same level of rails difficulty wise, but it was groomed and it was sick but keystones park is probably better but steamboats terrain and bowls are dope, altough thats the only place out west ive been too

Def hit up keystone you can go to breck wich is like 15 miles away from keysotne and A basin is only like 5 miles away. that way you can get the steeps in as well

i've never really had bad crowds at keystone suprisingly. i usually head to the park or to northpeak/outback and usually just lap lifts all day even on weekends.

sounds like keystones a better option. Its been at least 4 years since ive been there so i guess alot has changed.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
