Stealing skis or board at the hill

so i went to a comp on saturday with a bunch of my snowboarder friends. after the comp was done everyone was inside drinking or getting ready to go. my friend that got a brand new board for christmas (a nice fucking board too, endever maybe) was going inside to take his boots off. he put his board on the rack , took his boots off and came back outside when he found his board missing outside. i felt so fucking bad. he looked like he was going to cry. if someone ever took my fucking skis i would fucking kill them. thats so dirty
 
I remember back in the day, the same thing happened to my friends older brother when they went to New york.
 
there was someone up here in park city, that stole like 8 pairs of skis or somthing and tried to sell them on ebay, but got caught and it turned out that he stole one of our missing pair of foils that we demo at a shop that i work at, its fucked up
 
i was just in mont tremblant for a week and midweek i put my skis on the rack for a break and when i returned BAM no more troublemakers =( i loved those damn skis

now no spring break cause i gotta get money to get skis and then find money to go somewhere
 
Me and some buddies where just in big white, we got our back pack stolen that had 2 vid cameras in it and my buddies wallet it in which he had all his meetings and stuff with different shops wiritten down (hes a rep) and a couple of days later someone punked a pair of ninthwards which was dumb because A theres almost no pairs ninthwards in canada and i bet its one of 3 pairs with demo bindings on it which he has the other 2
 
okay, this is my time to rant. i have never gotten my shit stolen, but if i did, and i found the guy who stole it, i would fuck him up soooo bad. unless i was at work, cause then i would get fired (i work at a ski hill). four of my friends have gotten their skis stolen from where i work, two of them have gotten them back, but the other two were shit outta luck. that sucks for them, but it sucks more than just getting something stolen, for us, living and working up here is just so we can ride as much as possible. we basically put the rest of our lives on hold so we could come up here and ride all the time. that is how much we love skiing, but how can we ski when assholes are sneaking around stealing our skis? if anyone who has stolen someone's skis reads this, this is what i have to say to you: FUCK YOU YOU ASSHOLE!! I SERIOUSLY HOPE THAT YOU GET SOOOOO FUCKED UP THAT YOU END UP PARALYZED SO YOU CAN SIT ON YOUR ASS ALL DAY AND KNOW WHAT IT IS LIKE TO HAVE EVERYTHING IN YOUR LIFE THAT MEANS SOMETHING TO YOU TAKEN AWAY. THESE SKIS ARE NOT JUST SOMETHING WE HAVE!!! THEY ARE LIKE A PART OF US!! I DIDN'T HAVE LIFE HANDED TO ME ON A PLATTER, I HAD TO BUST MY ASS ALL SUMMER TO EARN MY SKIS!! IF YOU TOUCH MY SKIS I WILL FUCKIN KILL YOU. YOU SHOULD REALLY GET A LIFE AND QUIT SKIING CAUSE YOU DON'T DESERVE TO SKI. WE ARE NOT SOME RICH CORPORATION WITH INSURANCE, WE DON'T HAVE A LOT OF MONEY, WE JUST WANT TO RIDE, AND HAVE A KICK ASS TIME WITH OUR FRIENDS WHO LOVE OUR SPORT AS MUCH AS WE DO. SO DO THE WORLD A FAVOR AND GO FUCKIN DIE!!!!!!!!
 
Her e in europe you gotta buy skiinsurance with new boards, so many polaks stealin shit. And no smalll timers either. Its like a mafia they drive vans and just dont get enough.
 
when I was 11 somebody stole my snowblades, so mommy bought me a pair of real skis.... best day of my life.
 
ski stealers everywhere beware. I keep a 45mm in my ski pants because if I ever see someone skiing my NINTHWARDS I would shoot them in the ass then in the nee caps then in the head. Don't think I wouldn't either!!!!!!!
 
its pointless to steal, skis are expensive. for those that who steal go find a fucking job!

this is what i do all the time, i separate my skis so that it will be harder to steal since they will have to look around for the other ski. it never has happened to me. but someone have stolen my bag from the lodge and i had maybe like more than $1000 of stuff (jacket, helmet, google, pant, hat, my 300 dollars phone) i was soo pissed and told my dad about it. he told me that he would beat his ass up for me. (cause he knows that i cant fight and yet im 20 haha)
 
my buddy had his board stolen. but he found it ditched in a tree. he should have looked around, alot of times they will just hid it and come back for it later.

Typical Ninthward person with your guns. kidding, but someone stole my friends board and i felt so damn bad for him. He just went in for a second to buy a drink. Guess you have to always lock your shit up.
 
i always lock my shit up. its just too easy to walk away with someones gear. id never steal someones tho thats just nasty.
 
my brother has an endeavor nice board. the board is worthy of buying a 5 dollar lock for.

too bad so sad for your friend. with a board like an endeavor he should have bought a lock.

the endeavor isn't a mainstream burton type bullshit board. its like armada or line for boards. before that he had an arbor which is the same deal.
 
my dad was on a trip to killy with his friends and they watched this guy take their stuff. they waited followed him to his car and called the cops. he tried to run off but they got him and held him there for like an hour or more. people like that piss me off
 
you hear about these stories every year, now why doesnt every one take the time, spend a max of 20$ for a good lock, and take the extra 2 minutes to lock them up. I do it every time even if i am just running inside for a minute.
 
this dumb kid stole my buddy's new ride deck a week ago. my buddy buys a new board, then sees his board in the back of a car. the dumb kid gets arrested, and now my friend has 2 boards. useless.
 
yeh man same with me..and not cord locks they need to be ski keys...and then i get a seat hwere i can easily see my skis...so if i see someone even like comming up too them and eyeing them, and they look sketchy, i will approch the, becasue it has happend before...
 
i just seperate my skis and put them bases showing so people see my rail damage. Anyone who would steal my skis over the pair that look barely used is an idiot. Unless they want my bindings, but they would be hard to ski since htey would be facing away anyways.
 
that fucking pisses me off so bad!! if that had ever happened to me and I found the guilty ones I would fucking beat them to pieces with my skis till they'd be lying in a blood pole
 
my dad told me this story about how back in the day he went into lunch and found his poles stolen, so he was pissed because he just got them or something like that so he waited at the end of the day and looked at all people walking by with poles and sure enough some guy walked by with his poles. So my dad confronts this guy saying that these are his poles and the guy just mumbles something about somebody taking his, drops the poles and runs off. Stealing stuff is retarded, but at least my dad got his poles back
 
If i whitnessed someone stealing mine or any of my friends' shit I would give them the worst flogging ever recorded in history
 
i wish someone would steal my skis and just leave me the bindings...then moms would get me some new ones...mine are so f'ed right now
 
my friends poles got stolen like 3 weeks ago,,,he waited between the main lift and the ski racks(small mtn) and saw some guy some down w/ them, he waited till the guy wet into the lodge and took them back
 
My board just got stolen sunday. it sux so bad. theres nothing you can really do about it unless you see someone riding your board.
 
my skis got jacked opening weekend. sons a bitches. if i ever caught somebody stealing not just my stuff, but anybody's stuff, i'd probably break their jaw
 
stealing sucks! i always seperate my skis and place them next to nicest pair of skis i can find making them look worthless in comparison
 
the weird thing is that wen i raced id leave $1150 speed skis (got em 4 free i wuldnt pay that much 4 skis) against the wall by the locker room cuz ive never had anything stolen xcept for 1 shoe once and i think i just misplaced it. i think a lot of it depends on wer ur skiin. if your skiin at some huge intra-west resort like squaw its more likley than if your skiin at some less fancy mountain. that or just hide ur skis urself. it is pretty ridiculous how much ppl steal skis tho. pathetic fuckers
 
ive had apair of skis stolen, at 3am in the fucking mornin(i left them 4 1min, amd they were seperated),and 2 pairs of poles stolen.its fuckin horrible,who the fuck do they think they r?i would never steal anybodies shit, cos i know how expensive it is!!!
 
ye, thats what I do cause i really dont have the time to lock it or go to a ski check for a short break. I put stickers on mine and it looks like crap next to that pair of salomon xscream xtra hots.
 
I hate stupid kids who steal from people at the mountain cause if they got their shit stolen in return they would be so mad.

A couple years ago the ski club kids would go down to the locker room, and some people put their bags ontop of the their seasonal locker cause there is no room in the locker and people who dont have lockers arent really allowed down there, but kids go down there all the time and took a bunch of bags off lockers brought them onto their buses, rummaged through all their stuff and threw out whatever they didnt want... how shitty is that, you get a locker for extra protection cause stuff in the main lodge gets stolen all the time.. these kids should just die.

Skis are an extensio of your body, like Viking's sword. You wanna take my skis? You're gonna get the Berserker fury, mother fucker.
 
if someone stole my skis i would track them down and PUNISH THEM. hahaha

when poles are stolen its like a pass it on sort of thing. you just steel some similar sized poles and then that person steals some poles and it all works out

but stealing skis is just plain cold hearted
 
That same thing happened to my buddy. But the next weekend we were up there and we say a kid on his board. We knew it was his cause my friend spraypainted with his own designs and crap. We were at the park at Keystone and we confronted the kid. The kid took off the board and we told him he could walk down or we would call the cops. He decided to walk down. If you have been to Keystone you know that is a very long walk. HAHAHA. Thats what you get f****r.
