Stealing others stuff

Ive always heard about it happening to others in the lodge and thought it could never happen to me. I went to mount snow on the 13th then went to okemo the 14th so I had quite a bit of cash on me for lift tickets and fuel. I never thought it would happen to me. I had my back pack locked with an old school lock. It was an amazing day of skiing, then it ended real quick when I went to leave and saw some one jacked my shit. They took my wallet with 200+ bucks and they took my cigar case that had a cigar, my cutter, lighter and bowl in it. Luckly they left my keys to my truck and cellphone, they even left my spare scott goggles with nice mirrored lenses. I was ripping. obviously the people that work there dont care. Im still pretty pissed about it. Not that they took my money because Im pretty financialy sound as of now and wouldnt mind giving my money to a fellow freeskier or snowboarder if they really needed it. If anybody was there on sunday the 14th and knows anything about it please pm me or email me at mxrider116@yahoo.com, I prolly wont get any information but its worth a shot, I just want my lighter and wallet back because it has my drivers license and HVAC ceritifaction cards in it. You can keep the damn money. Sorry for the rant.

wow man that really sucks hardcore. there seems to be a lot of threads about people getting their shit jacked lately. hope you get your stuff back man +k
 
Sorry to hear about that man.

I've always been super cautious with my gear after my buddy's brand new board got jacked the first day up Grouse last year.

Hopefully you at least get your wallet back!
 
people are so gay. my friend had a bag and his really nice piece stolen at sugarloal. I dont understand why people do stuff like that it is so stupid
 
today when i was in gym someone stole my undershirt. its not like i really care about an undershirt but its really random. sorry to here that though bro
 
Yea it is pretty sad to think about that most kids that are stealing are prolly on this site, I guess it could be worse, they could have taken my keys and would have had to have my mommy drive 3 hours from ct to vt to get me, or my cellphone which is very important for work (Im a farmer and own my own lawn care service with all my customers numbers).
 
yea i caught this redneck faggot jacking some random dudes stuff one time at my hill and i yelled at him and he just kept on doing it and i got people attention and this huge black guy that worked there ran straight at him and tackled him over this table... broken nose...

That sucks bro. I try to keep everything valuable in a secure pocket in my jacket. It helps to have a phone that is waterproof coldproof and all that but i have had a couple pairs of goggles stolen a pair of gloves that I later found sitting on another kids bag and took them back. I dont understand why people steal shit from others its rediculous.
 
I believe Im a good person, I'd give my new 08 invaders away to another skier if they needed it more then me, Im a very easy going person and I love to make people happy, I gave a bunch of my winter gear to some underequipped mexican workers at work just to make it better for them. But its whatever, I just had to rant after it happened.
 
yes, once i found a wallet in the snow at our smoke spot, had the id but the cards and $ were gone, went to the lost and found and the guy was there, he fucking tried to blame me, man i was about to beat the fuck out of him.

but yea make a craigslist add, some dumb fucking kids like to tell there friends about that type of shit.
 
speaking of wich some sick bastard stole my shoes... MY SHOES left my jacket but took my old shoes that i needed just this sat.

That sucks man. I know how you feel my granmas house on my hill was robbed last summer and they took a bunch of skis and belongings. My home was also robbed and they took a bunch of videogame stuff. I hope you find your stuff. Sucks a mean dick they took your bowl.
 
ya man i know how you feel. i got my wallet jacked when i went to switzerland over the summer. and i too just wanted the wallet back for my id.
 
that sucks. but i dont get why people leave their shit out in the open. dont your mountains have lockers? or just leave your shit in the car. solves all your problems.
 
Can't really blame the guy...that's nice of you to take the time to return it though, he probably saw how tough you were and backed down, and appreciated your good deed instead.

i never thought we'd see the day when skiers start stealin from each other. its totally killin our sport.

and to steal someones ski setup is the lowest thing in the world. im not suggesting that anyone go steal from each other, but kids that do steal should at least have enough respect for the fact that skiers love skiing more than any amount of money so at least leave peoples ski stuff alone...

 
I now know to never leave anything in the lodge. The thing about putting stuff in my pockets worrys me too though, cause Im not the best as skiing and while trying new stuff I often fall so I dont want to loose it on the hill either.
