Staying in whistler under 18?

Hey, so me and some friends (all 17) were trying to book a hotel in whistler for a couple days but it seems like they all need us to be over 21. So, is there any way around this we are willing to tent if you guys know of any good campsites close to tge village

if you're going to be camping, i'd recommend one of the upper day-lots. (although i'm not sure if it's allowed, might as well give it a shot). \

it'd be a short climb from the village, and you'd have tons of space.

it would be flat, and hard to get lost as well haha.

for those interested we found a hostel (

http://www.alpinelodge.com/main.jsp?p2=galeriesbyauthor.jsp) that didn't require us to be over 18. Only down side is there is apparently a zero tolerance on bringing non guests in, like he said we would get evicted if caught but other than that the guy sounded chill on the phone
