mike-o...I have no idea how you can think this is "beautiful" or "deep". Yeah the last scene was cool but it was random as fuck. Please explain to me the deeper meaning you seem to see.

Maybe my name isn't artsy enough or whatever but the only thought I came out of that with was "that was fucked up"

Taking a genre trope/cliché of wet and wild awkward teens and turning it not upside down, but inside out, literally. Then the fact that it's a music video, beautifully drawn with animation to die for. On top of that it's executed in such a quick and strong fashion, paying homagé to a lot of artists and telling a tragedy, not something a lot of people have the balls to do these days, everything has to be happy-happy or people get angry.
 
I feel like that video represents something totally different to what you think at first. Does someone want to tell me so I don't think it's just a weird pool orgy gone wrong?

Really? It wasnt bad, at first I wasnt sure if I wanted to watch it, but Im glad I did. Not really what the fuck. Thought it was NEAT.
 
If I hadn't seen that fucked up video first I would have probably loved this song. But now I can't get all the images out of my head when listening to the song.

It sounds super familiar to the music used in TBC

The description that I heard that makes the most sense: This is the death of innocence from the point of view of the girl. Sex is something that is so strange to her that she sees the others as monsters, and it is quite possible that she gets raped.

I don't know anything about the background of this, but to me, it seems to be about an innocent girl and her first encounter with sex. It's very scary and traumatizing to her, and just when she feels like she's found an escape, she enters an even more monstrous world, and it destroys her.
