I am doing a stats project. I need 40-60 different resorts. Here is where NS can help.

In this form state your State, Resort, and Number of trails.

State: Pennsylvania

Resort: Ski Roundtop

Number of trails: 16 trails

This will be a huge help!

i hate you

ha ha jk

Powder Ridge MN, 14 trails, but they count every little side cut as a full trail, so the real number is around 10

Country: Switzerland

Resort: Laax

Number of trails: ~100 but there are many, many unmarked trails

There are 31 lifts if that helps at all.

Province: British Columbia

Hill: Grouse Mountain

Runs: 26

Province: British Columbia

Hill: Whistler Blackcomb

Runs: 200+

so does each lift only have 1 or 2 trails that go from it?

anyways... dagmar

north of toronto

14 runs

4 chairs, 2 magic carpets

Provence: Alberta

Resort: Sunshine

107 named runs and 3 freeride zones (2 of them have almost 20 named "runs" in the zone)

i have been skiing there 4 years now and know like 6 names though because its just big an open for the most part and you never just follow one run down

connecticut

mount southington

hefty 14

our park is surprisingly good this year, but the day they made it i broke my arm and wont be back for a couple weeks so it sucks

British Columbia, Canada

Mt.Washington

60 runs according to the mountain report but there are many more 'unmarked' trails.

Alpine Meadows
Alpine Meadows, California
100+ Trails (thats actually what it says on the internet)

Mt Bachelor
Bend, Oregon
71 Trails (haha funny its bigger than mammoth in size)

oh and also this isnt a simple random sample....so your stat teacher will probably bitch at you.
