State Survey and Milk

So the other day in our American Studies class we took 30 minutes out of the class to take a state-wide multiple choice survey about our school enviorment, health, sex, and drugs. About 1/4th of the way through the test, after the section about how many times in the past weeks have you brought a weapon to school or how many times your get beaten by your girlfriend, there was a question asking on how much glasses of milk you drink in a day. I was confused on this random and totally out of place question because people seem to think it has to do with health and calcium intake and such but on the news just a few weeks before hand, there was a big story on how milk was shown to have NO relation to bone developement and growth. Can someone enlighten me on this matter?

no....but in our shool we had a survey about drinkin, 94% of our school says that they drink atleast once a month....calcium is suppose to make bones strong...milk has a very low percentage of calcim tough so maybe thats the reason it has no effect

on our survey, they had a drug, i dont remember what it was called, but it was completely made up. we looked it up on the internet, and asked everyone, and there was no such thing. i thought that was funny.

i buy the goldfish CALCIUM kind... a serving is 55 goldfish and that gives you 25% of your daily calcium.

like i always say, why not put calcuim in everything since that what helps make stong bones... if you look at more and more products you see they add calcium.

No wonder American's are so self centred and ignorant to the rest of the world. You have an American Studies class. What happened to World Politics and Global Geography?

And Canada is the exact opposite. We know everyting about everyone else and are completely ignorant to our history. If only we could find a happy medium.

I had to take that test. The drug was debinol or something. They put that on to see if kids are lying. And I'm in American Studies, too. How does that make Americans ignorant? It's like an American government/sociology class. We have World History too.
