Starting to rollerblade, need a lil advice

so yea im gonna take up blading, it looks like a sick way to bring skiing tricks to concrete

whats a cheap but good starter pair of blades to buy? how much?

is it hard to get decently good at blading?

i got some razor g 7's for around 175, they're my first pair and iv been told a good starter pair or blades
 
neva bladed... tho during springbreak there was kid goin thro the parking lot of the resort on a pair and ran in to a truck it was pretty pimp...
 
just keep ur balance and i dont like the g7s try the os2 s by remzs and if ur good at skiing blading comes easy

Razor or USD.

just practice practice practice

never stare down a feature or think about a trick too lon.

just go for it and break your face if you need to.

and ALWAYS go big.

completely different concept.

if anything it will improv your rail skiing.

cause grind on blades is alot scarier then on skis.
 
thats not necessarily true... you might be able to do a bunch of ski tricks on a small practice rail going extremely slow... but thats about it.... getting good at blading takes a while...
 
8 stair equals 9 feet.

i would like to see a skate boarder do a shove it (or someother easy trick) off a 9 foot feature.

if you can hit an 8 stair your first day out.

then what kind of shit can you do in a months time of practicing?

takes most of my skateboarding friends a month to learn how to ollie

it is just naturally easier to do impact tricks on blades then on a skate board.

 
sure anyone can huck themselves off shit... and have no style and eat shit...

i really doubt someone who has never bladed before is going to 180 an 8 stair with a clean grab or shifty or something their first day out... and roll away smooth...

quit kidding yourself...
 
so first you say that 8 stairs is easy.

then you say that they are going to end up screwing it over.

just pick up some blades and go big.

 
i said 8 stairs wasnt going big... people 540 over double sets with like 25 stairs... of roofs, etc...

ive been rolling for a long time and take offense when people think that everyone and their mom can put on a pair of blades and 180 an 8 set...

this is an ignorant assumption...
