The original movie was kick-ass. But I'll admit it, I'm a bit of a startgate freak too, but I didn't really like Atlantis too much, maybe I didn't give it time, but I thought it was lacking something.

yeah, I watched half an episode of atlantis, then said hell no. I downloaded the whole season, so maybe if i watch it from the beginning i'll get into it

i also love my stargate...I thought they were making another season of it right now, but i could br wrong. And yes, starget atlantis is diffrent, but i think that its still good, at least from a spinoff standpoint. The situation which created it was belivable and it was a real reaction to the situation of the show. I think that it will flow pretty well. Once you get over the fact that its diffrent and there is no my Ti'lk (sp?)...

Atlantis took a couple episodes to grow on me, its good, but yeah, its missing a character like Til'c or whatever. yeah, i jsut ifnished watching an episode from season 8 like an hour ago on space. im such a loser

you think your a loser? Im takeing a science fiction class at university and because i do I can point out a loser when i see one. They all discuss the finer points of the extras on the newest box set of dvd's and talk about how starwars was just a big joke against the brittish and stuff. They are nerds. You only become a nerd when sci-fi or computers or d&d take over your life. If you watch shows like startrek or stargate because you enjoy them, you arnt a nerd.

I just watched the first two episodes of Atlantis and it was pretty good. It misses the spark of Jack, Ti'lc, daniel, and sam, but its still good. I liek how they built up to it in SG1 and then kind of incorporated SG1 into the first episode
