episodes 4,5,6 were awesome, but the new ones 1,2 were too graphics oriented and without a strong cast. The best part about the old ones was the sets, and they replaced them entirely with computer animation, something im not all about. The locations are too happy

its sooo true that its more than just the movies. if anyone has ever thought of really looking in the star wars world (I did for a project in English, and cause I like the movies)

There are over 700 major role characters in the star wars saga. there are over 120 books that do not necessarily have yoda, luke, darth, han, leia etc. what most people dont realize is that the saga is one huge web of interconnecting stories that in some respects climax into these movies. there is a book that talk specifically about boba fetts father (the guy they cloned for the clone army)

and then there is us and our star wars playing cards, lifestyle etc.

its quite a culture

the new character guide is sweet, its color and has alot of the newly introduced characters, although it doesn't have some of the one's that have been featured in the first one.

The essential chronology is a must have...it has everything summarized...well most everything up until the fall of Coruscant

ye but the chronology ruins the saga in many ways cause many stories only have an ending. the rest of the book is pointless. some authors just wrote their books to progress time in the saga rather than develop characters or write interesting scenes that are memorable

I'm not sure exactly what you mean...but I have read all the novels included in the chronology but it is useful reference for me incase I forget some specifics about a point in time...also the early years of the republic and the sith age are available only in comics...which are pricey and hard to comeby...so the chronology is where I get my knowledge of those eras.

well I am still in it, not as much as I was...I used to know about everything there was to know...but that area of my brain has now been overtaken by stuff I learn in college. I can't even remember what company manufactures the T-65 X-Wing Space Superiority Fighter's proton torpedo launchers
