Seems like the most boring "sport" in the world, but I've never tried it.

All i know is those dudes catch like five times more waves than your average surfer.

Or you can just find a lake/river, load up your board with beer, and paddle around until you can't stand.

ehh, surfing is more fun and rewarding. SUP'ing, imo, is for pussies who don't want to sit in the water and risk failing at catching a wave.

ofcourse, but on 2 foot days its more fun the NOT surfing.... and surfing big ferry wake is actually dope as hell

thats true, but I personally wouldn't waste any money on a board/setup.

Then again I'm not a hardcore surfer, so I can wait out a few flat days. If some people are drawn to the water to be out every day they can, it could be a great investment!

i've got a 10'4" paddle surf Hawaii. Still new to the sport, got a lot of progression to do. Pretty relaxing, and makes small surf fun, would recommend people give it a try especially if your on vacation somewhere tropical.

This. They sit way out and away from where the waves peak where I surf and can still get them. Basically if they want a wave they're getting it, and getting it first. I've never done it.

yea most paddleboarders snake waves.... and the boards to fat to hold when they go down so it just goes apeshit.....
