On nstagram Saga posted a photo of Stepp's skis that now says "#StabSnowboarders" because of how the Rome guys sticking their spray skiers sticker on the back of the Saga Truck. Whose down to make these #StabSnowboarders stickers??
 
It gets so old when snowboarders try to profit of the whole "we hate skiers" thing. Then they turn around and be all like "come on man, we're just joking". I hate that, I'm def down with Stabsnowboarders!
 
Well if hating on skiers is still cool or core or whatever it is then hating on shaun white must still be too.

What if rome really just want attention and start a war with skiers to make more money, and saga also want to make money and get attention so they fight back? #endthiswarnow
 
I'm a snowboarder and I like skiing more than snowboarding, it's just too late to switch, so we're not all bad. I'm all for stabbing shaun white though.

Shouldn't skateboarders hate snowboarders? Snowboarding is skateboarding but easier and not a GNAR.

Its a fun joke, but apparently these crybaby snowboarders cant handle it. Im going riding today (taking the Saga truck) and i have a strong feeling that the truck is going to get fucked with. Why? Because the snowboarders who made the "stop skiing" and "spray skiers" stickers truly dislike skiers.

I've talked to/met a bunch of awesome snowboarders like Jonah Owen, Dylan Thompson, and Stevie Bell who are just as boggled as I am when it comes to the hate that some snowboarders have for us. The snowboarders who grew up with skiers have absolutely no problem with us... not that there should be a problem at all.

Those Rome SDS guys and the majority of Government camp High Cascade riders are insecure cool-guys who probably got picked-on in high school and need a medium to try to turn the tables on their miserable lives.

If you can't take a joke, then i feel bad for you.

I have no problem with snowboarders, but hilarity can ensue when they try to take their talents to the backcountry. There are some who are very proficient with a splitboard (huge props to them), but alot of them either take half the afternoon transitioning or worse yet try to snowshoe or bootpack. Gotta love when you find your track again after the first lap only to see that it's been ravaged by 5 pairs of boots or snowshoes.
 
I don't get why they chose saga to be shit on. Saga sponsors snowboarders and they don't make anything skiing specific. They may be more popular with skiers but they still support both. It would make more sense if they slapped a sticker on a company car for, say line, because it's actually a skiing only brand. Shows how smart they are
 
This is actually pretty accurate, sadly. A lot of the HCSC guys are fine, but the institutional mentality of "100% snowboarding" is so stupid. It says a lot when they hire a guy, knowing full well he's a skier, and then literally make him put his skis in a bag when on campus so they can't be seen.

Situation: Windells has a rule that no skiing on the features from 12-12:30 and park crew fixes stuff. I am a firm believer in this rule for many logical reasons (let salt do its work, limit someone getting hurt who was working on landing, ect...) however this is something that not everyone is told. So people who aren't told, or just dont know will make runs threw and hit features. Understandably the park crew gets mad and sometimes will over react (toss rakes, call you a fucking ass hole, flip you off). I get all of that because it can be dangerous, but this was one times that a skier hating snowboarder went over board.

I made a small jump for my group (Windells didn't have a small jump that my group could hit....) and was teaching my kids how to pop. Dick Head Derick was raking a rail down hill of my group and a skier came by and hit the rail. Derick gets mad and turns up hill to me and starts going off. "What the fuck is your problem you fag skier. Control your dumb fucking skier kids. Skiers are fucking ass hole fags ect..." right in front of my campers. I explained to him that it wasn't my kid and all of them are right behind me hitting a jump that I made because your too fucking lazy.

We started both yelling at each other for a bit (in front of campers) and ended up with our head coach intervening. When asked what the problem was I explained it what happened in and more or less it was resolved. However the thing that fucking made me hate this kinda snowboarder was when he was asked what the problem was all he said was, "I fucking hate skiers". Not, "shit i didn't know it wasn't one of his campers", or "shit I lost it for a min my bad". It was "I fucking hate skiers".

Anther great example of ass hole snowboarders was my friend skateboarding at the Windells employee housing and getting heckled for having a tall tee. Basically calling him a, "tall tee skier fag".

Some snowboarders are so ignorant and insecure that they really think they are cool. Spite the fact that they are not cool. Nothing is cool about a homogeneous. elitist sport, that can only be done in limited areas around the world, and has stolen almost all its tricks, terms, style, along with culture by a "cool" sport called skateboarding.
