ST joes Maine?

Anyone here at St joes in Maine? I went to chech it out today and i was wondering if its a chill school, hows the skiing? hows it for parties? thanks a bunch
 
the only legit school in maine is Bates. so unless you are going there, dont come to maine, you will be dissapointed. but joe's isn't a bad school, its just small, like most schools in maine.
 
my girls brother goes there. He says that there is a lot going on, on campus on the weekends. Partying is pretty good... I actually dropped him off one time and his roommate was hamboned at like 2 in the afternoon. Portland is a short drive away, as well as a couple ski areas.
 
So wrong. What about Bowdoin and Colby? and UMaine Orono is pretty legit if your studying engineering or marine sciences.
St. Joes is the only Catholic college in the state, its in Standish, Maine. Its pretty close to Shawnee peak, which is a fairly small mountian, but they do have night skiing. I few of my buddies go there and they say the partying is decent. Overall its a OK school if you don't mind small.
 
Bro, I got recruited there for lacrosse, so I went up and visited and really hated it. It's really small and in the middle of no where. It has a strong religious overtone everywhere you walk (crosses on walls etc.) not really my thing. It kinda felt like an alcohol rehabilitation center haha. No, seriously dude, not a fun school to go to. What do you want to major in?
