What does everyone think of Metallica's new sound/CD, Saint Anger? Not as good as the black album, but at least as good as most of their other stuff!

metallica kicked so much ass til the black album especially in the cliff burton days, now they suck

i am disappointed in the new album. I think that the riffs and stuff are cool, but the vocals kinda suck. Also lets not go into the metallica as sell-outs in here, because if it weren't for them, we wouldn't have some of the bands that we have today.

i totally agree, cliff was kick ass, although i also listen to ...and justice for all cuz thats a sweet album too

i tend to agree that metallica was better with cliff. But you have to say that black was a really good album, and I like some of the other stuff that they did between cliffs death and Load. Everything after Load i think sucks. But thats just me

yeah, the riffs and shit dont really sound like Metallica to me. it sounds good but its a little more 'modern' sound than normal Metallica.

They tried to change their sound but it turned bad. Well not too bad on the riffs, but where are the fuckin great solos? Whatever… at least its better than load and re-load… but they should have kept the “start with slow and enticing guitar, then gradually change into ultra energy metal, like in the songs fade to black and one

I was thinking... man my name is ugly! Canadian Ski God? come on! i suck at skiing!
