Guys, I hope those game developers see this. Don't you want the way to spin to be free form with the joystick as opposed to pressing like L2 or R2 to spin? That way we can do nice, smooth corks like in Amped....Thought I'd say this to see what you think....

^ there was a thread posted by novonty earlier saying that EA got a whole bunch of pros to work with them to make this game better, but i doubt that this ideafor the joystick spin will go into the game just because it is SSX and there games are usually kind of fantasyish. But if you want companies to make a game with that style of a more realistic spin, evryone has got to buy this one.

a skiing game almost the same as amped period, ssx4 is to unrealistic (i know it's meant to be like that but its homo)

 
for xbox you can use the joystick and do smooth corks and shit

What I don't get is that so many people complain and complain that we dont have a video game. then when people finally step out on a limb to make one, everyone says its gonna suck. YOU GUYS HAVEN'T EVEN PLAYED THE GAME YET. Nobody seems to understand that in order to get a really good skiing game, the market has to be there. So when everybody bitches and complains that SSX is gonna suck, nobody else wants to step out on a limb, and make a game, cause it is just gonna get bashed. So what I am try'n to say is, shut up, buy the game, and enjoy it.

i wnat it realistic so it doesnt get lame after .23 hours. i want cool clothes not striped shirts and mohawks. i want actually ski jackets and shit. i want skis from real companies. i want the analog for corking shit out. if you have those key thigns the game shoudl be good. i completely agree with you. if they can make it like the tony hawk games that you can get like sponsors or go to a store where you can buy from REAL companies that would be key.

^They've already made switch skiing so thats covered. I think it will be fine and surely entertaining. I will buy it to show companies that skiing is profitable, so another one will come out for sure, and the ninthward project will have sponsors.

Ill buy it anyway! as long as you can take of switch and spin its gotta be fun! imagine going of switch on those huge jumps ssx is known for, not realistic, but fun!

 
There are no skiiers who make games. And there are no game companies who free ski. And freeskiiers usually have no damn idea about making a good game, so even if they work with companies, its a dim view for all of us. I'm just going to keep modding my xbox and get everything for free anyway....

are they going to make 50-50ing much harder than a normal slide?

it would be sweet if when you did spins onto rails that it came up as "270 to railslide" instead of "180 to railslide" like in most games (they only measure by 180's)

someone in the other thred suggested they should make "GTA: Mammoth", i think this game like a GTA game or the new spiderman games should have a ton of freedom and you should be able to hike and explore the mountian fully
