ok, this point has been made over and over, even on page one, and JibRemix and Ryno have it right:
its a huge step forwards. sure, its unrealistic, but stop being so anal about what you get. gaming used to be for mostly fantasy playing, things that you will never be able to do and you just think :"how awesome would it be if i could really do this?".
there could be no attempt on the behalf of any production to make a simulation game if this doesn't sell, because it's a big risky move to come out with something that hasn't sold well. if this does, then all the more reason to start a movement for better looking, more realistic games.
we all love jibberish because it looks like the real thing. but stop gripping if there is a big game coming out that isn't as realistic, because thats all you are going to get ever if there isn't any support for it.
stop being anal and support this great decision to make a ski game.
