i actually got the demo in the mail!! When i first put in the game and played it for the first time i was really stoked, but then after awhile i got sooo bored of it.they are pretty much the same game. except the graphics are better and u can do some pretty steezy grabs, but u cant cork and can only do rodeos and mistys.
 
^yea can spin off axis and its way sick, and if you didnt know this when you press square it tweaks your grab

(there's a level where we all become ski snobs if we're not careful, just pointing out that that wasnt the way i meant it, I just miss the days when things seemed complicated, but at some level it was much more simple if you guys know what im sayin)
 
Also if you tap the right analog stick foward you can butter. Similarly, you can also do sitch up on rails and you can use the left analog stick to do nose and tail presses on rails.
 
I am renting the full version once it's out, there are some things that you can't do and I wish you could. Some of the spins don't look right at all. I am glad that I can ride switch and it looks good. Also you can do nose and tail presses. That's a big bonus.
 
its the same as JMMT. The rails are better but it's still shitty. Play amped, then play SSX on tour and you'll die because it's so bad.
 
im stoked for the release as well, the only thing i dont like is how you can like stop rotating completely and do a backflip in one jump
 
stop bitching and complaining its 100 time better than JMMT. there is still somethings that need to be worked out but still i love the demo and the game i cant wait for it to come out. its probibly jsut the first of many ski games and be happy that we at least got a game stop bitching about it... i swear one thing come out that sick and all everyone does is bitch about it
 
SSX on tour is definitely not 100 times better than JMMT, you're an idiot. Both games are horribly fake, when was the last time you did a 540 then stopped spinning completely mid-air to throw in a backflip? That's what I thought.
 
you have the freedom to do more realistic shit in the game. i like to do slow 180s without at grab in the game. i think SSX is actually amazing. its as good as it can be in my opinion. its reallly fun shit
 
well u prolly got bored cause theres only one level, i got bored after like 10 runs too. I think the halfpipe is the coolest part though
 
this game is gonna be so sick. very stocked on the release (oct 18 on ps2 and oct 24th for GCN, XB an PSP). apparantly anthony boronwski worked with ea big for trick naming ect. so it shouldnt be as bad as some of you said. also yeah its one mountain but i think theyre going to have more than 1 run on the real version (as opposed to the demo).

buy it.
 
I think its great. Its completely how you play it though. You can do fake tricks, or you can do really realistic tricks. And switch butterning into corks looks really good. I think the blunt or the nose grab are the best lloking grabs.
 
I played the full version at the Icer Air and it is much better than the demo. The entire game is better. You can pick from different companies like armada, and the gameplay is a little different too. Plus i got to play it with J.T. Schiller.
 
vanulair? jt schiller? oh man, do they ski good? cuz i kno corey vanular and tj schiller are pretty good.
 
to tell you the truth i hated this game. i thought it was going to be good but when i played it it left me with false hopes. I would rather play johnny moseley mad trix. i can't wait for amped 3 on the xbox 360.
 
how do you do slow spins do you start spining really late or what and the game comes out oct 14 which is in one week im so stoked
 
For those of you that think this game is so awesome, how many of you have played amped? Whoever said this game was as good as it could be was so wrong. Just play amped and realize how terrible the ssx series is.
 
you just do it. its not like a button. adding the no grab thing and just spinning slow by holding the thing to spin less. its not like a thing.
 
i got amped, but i still find the ssx series fun. like some exchange from the "a little bit more realistic amped series"
