Personally, i really like this feature and i hope it works out. That said, any predictions fellow NS'ers?

also, when is it going to open up fully?

discuss...

It is close to the freeskier FFL.... except you buy and trade stocks in skiers and the better they do, the more your stock goes up. It is a fake stock market with skiers as the companies

Yeah, I'm confused too but i think as more people participate/the market opens up it will start to become more clear. I just hope it becomes clear before i lose all of my money.

for those of you that haven't cound it it's under 'The Site' way over to the right in blue. check it out.

And for NoPoles, I hope people don't do this but im guessing some shitheads are planning on making aliases just to try out different stock buying options... sooo i suggest you make the SSE a privelage that you can only earn after you've been a member for six months or something along those lines. Thanks!

No I know what it is but I can never grab the concept of stocks. I just dont know how to work them. Ive been trying to screw with this thing for the past 2 weeks and still dont get what to do

I'm confused regarding buying stocks. I went and placed my bids under the "your tabled orders" but under "My Stocks" I don't have anything. When will the orders go through, or what do I have to do to get them?

You need to wait for a sell offer to be put on the table before you can buy. Every day at 12 noon eastern time (the market "open" time) the bank will offer a certain amount of shares for each skier at a certain price. Once those shares are bought up, the only way to get stock in that skier during the rest of the day is to buy from other people. So you need to wait until someone offers to sell their stock at a certain price, then make an offer. Thats my interpretation.

yeah, some people have buy orders for around 2000 per share. this is what will ruin the system and why i propose that we have some sort of prerequisite to joining SSE (6 month idea from above)
