People that discovered it early got a huge advantage. I have around 50k, and its steadily growing due to a market under a 12 year olds understanding of economics.
Not to worry. There will be an enormous crash in pricing at some point. It is simple economics.
Right now everyone is spent money on stocks and the few athletes that everyone wanted inflated pricing. Now you have people offering to sell their "prized" athletes for $9000 a share when the only people with portfolio value over $10000 are in the same boat. They will not be able to buy those expensive shares until they move their own "prized" atheletes but no one has the liquid capital to purcahse those shares. Once they realize that those shares are not moving and they need the money to purchase other high performing shares they will be forced to lower their market price to increase their own liquidity and the market will correct itself.
It will happen once people figure out coordinate their sales with a buyer who has a need/desire to own that athlete.
they could hold onto those skiers, but why would they when they start issuing dividends and theirs are not performing as well? they will want to trade those in for another skier who is paying out higher dividends. if they hold onto those stocks, they will never have any liquidity to purchase other skiers and the value will creep back down . there is a finite amount of money and it has to come and go during transactions. all of these prices will come down. just watch.
