Ok, im sure most of you have realized by now. But what stops people from cheating with sse? You could just make multipul accounts and then by out your own stocks with the 5000 you start with on your new account. IT WORKS 2. i tested it in the last verson. You could quickly get a shit load of money fast doing that.

Easy fix, block new members from the SSE.

I thought about this too. not like it would be too hard for people to do, multiple computers in house.. friends computers.. every school computer. I'm sure if I spent the next like week doing only that I could get way up there but then I realized that would be really lame. I don't know how people are so high up, like two days ago the highest portfolio value was somewhere around $15,000. now that's the lowest and the highest is waay ridiculously up there. I give up, I'm at 5,000 portfolio.
Someone fucked with Kristi's stock, its way overvalued and there have been tons of trades.

i definitely didn't cheat. please IP check those three names or something. and the only reason i am up top is because someone fucked with kristi leskinen's stock and i have like 30 of her stocks. without that i would be at like 25k portfolio value.

your almost at 20000!!! and yes there is almost no point but it gives people something to do and a sence of victory if there good.
thats a tough call... personally I'd say the SSE might have been a bigger flop. I mean gear trade worked, but people just refused to pay 10%.
SSE just plain sucked from the getgo. Hhahahha.... Its actually an awesome idea and a great system. Really, the SSE was around for YEARS before FFL, and was very popular.
When we tested the SSE in the donators forum, nobody tried to cheat the system so we didn't figure out that there was such easy ways to break it. Then we went live, everyone cheated, the system was broken and in the process we missed all the major competitions of the year.
That pretty much rendered this round of it stupid, and even though we've fixed a bunch of the errors I think it just became time to concede defeat and move on.

one of the problems is that paul spent all the time creating SSE but hten ended up forgetting about it in terms of dividends and keeping an eye on things, without dividends driving the demand for particular skiiers the market is pretty stagnet, and the bank has over flooded the market with stocks.
on top of that, when cheaters fucked with the value of skiiers, even if the cheaters were later removed, the value of the stocks they fucked with were never reset.
