I have the 2009? Salomon SPK Kaos.

They are squeaking like crazy. I found a site saying you can smear petroleum jelly around the joints.

Are there any other remedies for this?
 
If it isn't damaging the boot it doesn't really matter. Plus I kind of like that sound, its soothing like the sound of squeaking snow under skis.
 
no man, this noise is really annoying. I can't even explain the sound. Just walking around makes a racket.
 
My Dalbellos blenders got squeaky during summer skiing this year, it sort of just went away on its own..
 
Spray some WD-40 into the hinges and at the rear rivets behind the hinges (with the liner out). Put the liners in and flex them around for a bit. That should make them better
 
yeah ive got the same, you may have the buckles too loose, its fine though just leave it
