My brand new Griffons are squeaking. I don't know if it's just my boot or my binding moving around. Anyone experience this?

mine did the same i just ignored it and it eventuled stoped so if i were you id keep skiing them and ignor the squeaky sound

ahahahahahha office ftw!!!

but ive got the griffons and theyve squeaked before, but that was in very cold weather. i skied on em the next day in a few degrees warmer waether and they were fine. so i think if theyre brand new youve just gotta break em in a bit. theyll be fine. as long as theres no clicking

my jesters did that right when i got them. it lasted just a couple days then disapeared, or i just dont notice it anymore... i dont know. but i wouldnt worry about it, i think they just need to get broken in.

i read that other people had that problem in a few reviews on backcoutry .com.ill have mine in a few days and ill let you know.

is is that bad that its annoying ?

i have marker jesters and tecnicas and i have the same problem.

most of the time its not bad but sometimes you can really hear it.

i think ignoring it is best, idk what else to do about it

Are your bootsoles worn? If the height has been affected, the boot can slip up and down in the non-height adjustable toe piece and make a squeaking noise.

OK good. I was starting to think that they weren't screwed in all the way, but I checked that and it was fine. It's just really annoying, and I was skiing moguls the other day. Guess I just have to break it in.

Which boots do you have?

I have Krypton Pro's and Jester's and the incessant squeaking has me wanting to sell my Jester's for other bindings.

This has been discussed on TGR, specifically with the Krypton boots.

do you have agent 80's?i have jesters+agent 80's and they click and my boot moves up and down in them, but its not a big deal

the jester and griffon marker claims to have self adjusting to tension. my guess is that concept doesnt work and the binding is squeaking because its moving around on its self because of the "self adjusting toe tension"

Same here with SPK pros. Only in the toe pieces, fuggin annoying. Almost as annoying as the saga advert that flashes ->

Yup - happens with my SPK Kaos as well. Doesn't instill a ton of confidence in the binding to boot interface, but I'm still happy overall with them.
