no, just stay at a motel or something in tahoe city if you can find one.

i go to tahoe every year. i usually stay at south shore and hit up squaw one of the days. i use www.lodginglaketahoe.com the cabins and condos are amazingly cheap for what you get. especially if you got a bunch of people to split the house with. i am staying in cabin 585 on the site this year we are gtoing feb 28th to march 3rd the total cost of the condo is $772 between 6 of us is like 130 dollars apeace for the place. but check out the cabins around squaw you might score a great deal.

if you really need to go cheap, the casinos in reno always have rooms they need to fill. you can put up as many ppl you can fit in a room for $50 or cheaper
