those are fine arguements against squaw.  Unfortunately, squaw has this attitude of
"oh, we've got the terrain and the coverage that the people demand, so we don't need to actually care about things as if WE were the skiers.  Their customer service got so bad that they took some heat and started using the phrase "we care" as part of this big push to do better.  Well, they care about looking like they care.
the fact of the matter is, Alex Cushing, visionary owner, knew that putting the best lifts on the best terrain was a timeless success.  Thank god he thought that way because now squaw skiers and riders reap the benefits daily.  There are many resorts that do better understanding and catering to their market at this point.  That's why they lag with the park building compared to say, mammoth.  I still prefer squaw though.
