because bending edges sucks.
square off the tips and go with a 3/4 wrap (which is better anyway) and you got a dope ski that is not as hard to hand make.
Also makes the skis stand out more and get the brand noticed.

nordica has some skis with square tails too (enforcer, blower). They are pretty sick.

I think he's just talking about twins with squared tips/tails.
But if you want to open up this can of worms, that's not a belief at all. A ski with a flat tail will hold an edge way better than any twin tip. Twins just kind of smear around whereas a good flat tail will lock into a turn and not wash out when you give it power. I like them way more for hard or variable snow, but it doesn't make much of a difference in powder.

twin tips initiate turns easier and make possible to land switch, but the really fuck with the swing weight, they also do not hold the edge in the tail as well as a traditional flat tail. the squared tips and tails direct more pressure to the ends of the ski than a traditional rounded tip and tail would (not really significantly tho), but the noticeable difference is swing weight. squashed tips and tails are simply easier to spin

How the fuck are they easier to spin? Honestly, I challange you to find a difference. Did you just come up with all of this spur of the moment? even if there was a difference in pressure, or they were for some god unknown reason "easier" to spin, the difference would me so minimal it would be pointless to even argue it.

Moment uses a 3/4 wrap so you don't have to worry about it.
And for the record 3/4 wrap is better then 360 wrap. So when companies advertise having full 360 edge wrap, all they are advertising is having skis that are more likely to delam.
