so i spent like all day trying to get all this shit off my computer, ive run so many different spyware and virus deals... its really gay. i want to go on a cop/nerd with social issues leading to a bitter release of spyware and virus... i say cops because they should die anyway so why not drop some of them while im at it.

avg antivirus, adaware, spybot search and destroy, zone alarm firewall, and mozilla firefox have kept me virus and spyware free since the begining of ever.

 
yeah i have spy bot a adaware and norton....they got rid of most but i have one that keeps changing my homepage and like 1 ad pops up for every page its annoying

 
i cant delet all the spy ware on my computer with out changing the regestry keys, and im not going to mess around with those cause id probaly just make things worse.

I was running ad aware(which btw adds its own spyware to your system..), McCaffee A/V and firewall, and an anonymizer program. Six months later, Western Digital had to warranty my hard drive because of a massive failure, which resulted in every singly byte of my stuff being lost. The root cause? Spyware. You can't win.

Freezy deletes all my posts because he doesn't like me, so I suggest you message him to make him stop.

Get Anti-Virus program & Firewall that is compatible with AV program, and Ad-Aware. Also run a virusscan everytime you download *anything*. Doing that wouldnt have your computer fucked in first place. Learn to take care of it.

 
And ALL Anti-Virus companies is at least 9 months behind the current virus updates. Approx 50k new viruses, bugs, etc is created every month. Start a habit of updating your protection programs often as you can.

If your computer's still fucked after cleaning it up, you may need to replace your hard-drive cuz these bugs screwed it up. Hard-drives is a delicate piece.

 
I highly recommend on getting Sygate AV and Firewall programs. I've been using them for couple years now and they both havent failed on me yet, unlike McAfees and Norton cuz they do suck.

 
maximun gave mcafee av a 5/10, notron a 7/10 and AVG a 9/10. AVG IS FREE!!!!!!

and that webroot program does work quite well. i had recently updated spybot, ran it and then I ran webroot spy sweeer and it found 180 things

Sometimes if theres still spyware, I just highlight the name of the process or webpage it pops up, and go to search, and delete it... if that makes sense.

yes that works only somtimes there are still files that don;t do anything but are still on the computer. somtimes there are files that bring whatever it was back too

when you get Ad-Aware 6.0 make sure you get the updates.

if you have a worm try typing it in on google.com and go through the process of eliminating it. sometimes the only way is to go into the registry and delete certain keys. symantec has every known virus definition on their site and how to remove it

that happened to me too!!!!! because i went on xanga and all these lyrics sites that were full of crap. it took over the computer. so my brother got really mad, fixed it, and now i am restricted to my email and newschoolers. but that's okay because i love this site
