Spyder or Columbia

So my buddy wants a new jacket and has his mind set on either a Spyder or Columbia, and I was just wondering what yall think is a more solid brand as a whole? He has enough money to get either one...

Just from rep I'd say spyder, but as stated above go try them on and decide which you like best.

I got a Columbia vertex bugaboo (or whatever they called it) from like a year and a half ago and it rocks ass. It's really water proof, really warm and the liner zips out.

Never tried a spyder though so I can't really compare the two.

sypder costs more but looks alot cooler. Id get spyder if money wasnt an issue.

Spyder has a branch that focuses on freskiing, so I think spyder would have the coolest looking stuff. They've been doing some really good jackets for years too. Columbia must make quality shit, but I've never seen a columbia jacket I thought it looked really good

I like spyder better personally, but really its whatever you like the best and fits teh best
