I love my blizzards because they are the sweetest looking goggles and you can change out the lenses so you can always get the best performance out of them. Good Luck. and oh, I have already skied 5 times, so i feel for you and your 20 sum odd days.

dude, do what i did and buy the blizzard mx's. I got mine for $60 cdn but they come with a clear lense. So.. you go to a ski/snowboard/skate shop, whatever and buy the platinum lense for $30. To buy the platinum lense with the goggle for the snow/ski goggle is like $150 to $175! i was able to go to a bike shop and pick up a ton of other lenses too for like 10 bucks a lense. I got pink, yellow, brown, orange, a platinum lense, and a clear lense all for under $150cdn! just go to motocross store and get them to order you some moto ones (plus they have the silicone grippy stuff on the inside of the strap)

 
i have the scoops, theyre pretty smooth, i know they dont have the little metal thing, but theyre still rad
