Hey everybody just got off the phone with my employer, Springhill

WE ARE OPENING SATURDAY DECEMBER 19th

come on out for opening day!

Lets see how many winnipeg skiers we can get out for this. I know i will be.

I'd wager a guess at 10 people.

Well stony had about 6 skiers on opening day, so i would say thats a fair guess. Thats alot more then last year. I was pretty much the only consistent skier at spring. Nice to see winnipeg growing in the ns scene.

Well there'd already be 4 of us: You, steezy, my recently-converted-from-snowboarding brother and me. So yeah, likely 10-13 people.

I'll try and make it out. I'll look silly on my skis most likely.

On a side note, anyone see/hit that box setup on the corner of Wellington Cres, near the tennis courts?

No, but I'd love to pull out my homemade box if it ever snows again. Too little snow for backyard jibbing.

I wish i could go but im going to be shredding pow in whistler, poor me ill be there like everyday after christmas though.
