Spring Break

Alright so me and my dad both got the week off and want to go on a ski trip. Somewhere that is drivable in about a day or so. We live in portland, oregon. I figured I would ask around here where a good spot to be at around spring break time. Cause I cant decide there are to many options. I was thinking somewhere in Idaho or maybe B.C. Anybody have an idea. Ive never skiied anywhere but oregon so I want to go somewhere different, with good conditions and decent snow. I think utah and colorado are out of the picture unfortuantely. Some local opinions would be great and I appreciate all the help I can get on this.

tahoe for a couple days, then down to mammoth, then back to tahoe, then home

it takes away alot of one day driving while hitting a bunch of sick shit
