well its that time of year again. where are you planning to go?? today me and 6 other people hiked the table top at losttrail. there was antoher 10 people already there pretty fun.

another fun thing is losttrail has setup a offseason rail park infront of the lodge. theres a 20 foot flat rail roller coaster box and a up rail. today we setup a garabage can stall and a wood pallet stall.

my friend got a ticket at bridger for snowmobiling. apparently you can't do that there. i didn't know that.

do you think they would get pissed if people set up their rails on the lower part of the hill while there's still snow? bridger tends to be anal about that kind of stuff

^No. There were a bunch of rails set up there last year. I heard they got A TON of snow from this storm.

Bridger has historicaly been cool about post season action. Rails and big jumps are cool, snowmobiles are different and illegal on most leased land.

Skied "hidden" yesterday, the hike took a couple hours but the skiing was sweet, big jumps built in Bradley meadows.

I skied beehive today, it was pretty fun. It was too cold for the snow to get soft, but it was still nice to get out and do some skiing, especially with the complete lack of people up there. With the amount of snow left in that basin, I'd say it'll be skiable from the bottom for at least another couple weeks, up higher for a LOT longer.

NZ is gonna cost about $3300, including about a G for the plane ticket. The package I bought is for 10 days and includes lodging, meals, lift tickets, coaching, etc.

That is a great deal! I was trying to fly there this summer and for my wife and I, from Denver to NZ, but it was like almost $4000 for tickets only.

I went up 2-3 miles on sunday. There were some good jumps, they were all just in bad places. I saw one that looked like it would be pretty fun, but the rest of them either had super flat or super short landings.

I was just up there to ski, so it wasn't really much of a disappointment. What I'm really bummed about is that I was going to ski Blackmore this weekend but Hyalite Canyon is closed. Now THAT is something I'm going to whine about!

Bridger was shitay this afternoon, snow on boilerplate, kinda decent higher up but pretty much a bummer.

heard they got some snow lately more than Bozeman has gotten, but it should open back up was open two weeks ago.

Skied Bridger today, right now they have the best coverage I have ever seen there, period. Everything was super smooth and completely rock free. I might mention the whale was finally set up right, so I'd recommend checking that out if any of you guys make it up there.

Hylite is closed for trail maintenance, saw it today. I am headed to Bridger soon, anybody down for an afternoon hike maybe thursday.

Do you know when Hyalite will be open again? Seems like trail maintenece would be a bit tough with 3-6' of snow on the trails, too....

Bridger was sweet again today, there is still an amazing amount of snow up there. Coming down the Apron was like skiing on butter, it was some of the best spring skiing I have ever had.

Anybody do Hyalite this past weekend? I was going to head up there but had to go to damn dirty LA for a graduation instead, I'm just hoping I won't have to walk too far before it's skin time next weekend.

Well, I ended up skiing Blackmore on saturday, and it was a bit disappointing. The snow's really starting to go away with all this warm weather so we ended up having to walk about 3/4 of a mile past Blackmore Lake, which really sucked. The snow is melting FAST up high with this weather.
