John Spriggs got completely fucked at this years open. His switch 12 shouldve definitely landed him a podium let alone a spot in the top8. Fuck the Judges...Spriggs killed...The movie is somwhere on the sight and it is one of the sickest tricks i have ever seen

 
he got robbed in slopestyle too. then again he got to semis. they didnt even give me that with a pretty dope run

I also agree that spriggs should have done a bit better, but what really got me was sean fields. Granted he got a nice big straight air, but he definitly should not have beaten Vanulars amazingly steezy corks.

 
yea judging can get messed up...especially when a reg 9 beats a sw 10 or a cork 7 beats a sw `10

spriggs did get royally fucked over at the open, but he gets fucked over alot, he is one of the sickest skiers out there and he's only 17. he gets mad props form me

i really dont get how this post is back.

1. Spriggs is still 16, almost 17.

2. Maybe he gets robbed cause he is the new tall person in the sport and people don't want anyone to tower the Olenicks and Liam.

3. Yes a lot of people got f'd at the Open. I had a really decent run that people told me I should score maybe top 4 definately top 8 for my heat. I got 22nd? A kid got 9th who fell twice

A style sw cork 7 should def beat a sw 10. I was so tired of sw 10's in the open. If it were a bigger jump and they were more stylie, then a sw 10 should win. But skiing shouldn't turn into a sport where people are winning comps by throwing 1440's and 1620's. A stylie zero spin should be judged highly too(I think it was laurent favre, maybe jacob wester, I cna't remember, but it was sick, if he had stuck it, it should have won). smaller stylie spins should start to be worth more than bigger spins that don't look that good. ---I haven't seen spriggs 12. I can't view vids.

I don't deny there are bad things in the US right now, hell, 51% of the country to be exact. But god damnit, our country being fat is NOT a problem. I do't give a shit how fat people are. hell, fat kids are harder to kidnap, that means our country is safer.

I didn't post those pictures to hear about what is better and what isn't just did it to show a couple pictures I had taken of Spriggs this winter.

 
2 big name people fell in my heat or severly fucked up in both runs and beat my clean run... i gots 10th in the qualies, top 8 move on... i dont like it when pros get byes into the semis... o well, i will do good next year
