I kno there is a thread on this from 2 yrs ago...but has ne one tried it since.

I need a new helmet this yr and the one i want is in the wrong color so can u just spray paint them?

YES! i did it on a bad lieutnant.... twice since i didnt like what i did on my first attempt, maybe just use a very thing sand paper to make sure it sticks but not necesseraly and put something to protect from water after. Make sure you are prett far from the helmet when you paint so it doesnt make spots. And make sure to cover everything up, should work well! i got picts if you want

why counldnt you? i just spray painted my bern macon, and it turned out just how you expect it would. i did three thin coats, because it was goin from a greyish to a white, but if you have a darker color going to a lighter color do more obviously. and make sure you do real thin coats, that way it wont crack as much, and it wont drip

My cousin, thefilmerguy, and I did it together on his helmet. It was his "old" one, but is now the one he wears all the time, and it worked great. PM him about what we used; I have no clue...

haha here's a picture of the first time i painted it, i had no clue how to do it so it gave that
