just a quick question, then this can die:

for spraypaint on skis that will LAST, do you recommend any certain type of paint?

for spraypaint on CLOTHES that will last, do you recommeend any certain type of paint?

I want to paint some on my snowpants, lines, which are real waterproof....how do i get it to stay painted? i wash my snowpants sometimes, what won't come off in the wash?

i also have some hats i'd paint...what type of paint for those?

a good outdoor latex will work for both, ideal for skis would be a gelcoat from a boat.

i made some clothes with krylon, just normal krylon and they been throught the wash, slightly faded but still colorful, on snowpants and sealed or waterproof stuff though, krylon wears off when wet, but for cottons and polyesters its good

There was a guy who posted an article on painting skis. Check it out. He uses auto paint but they look bad ass.

I'm just gonna put a couple of clear coats over whatever i paint on my skis, i think it will be fine

I'm talking stencils here, not a full on paint job (for the skis nor the clothing)

and i wasn't talking about the siver stencil, lol

i got that siver stence and when i dit it on my tee, it bled and now ot looks like a triangle id i put 2 much on or what?

yea dude jsut make a quick spray, and if its not dark enough, let it dry then do a second coat, also, material makes a difference, some bleed, some are solid

Just go over whatever spraypaint you get with a thick clearcoat and it will stay on your skis fine.

air brush is probably the only that will work on the clothes and I'd try a latex or epoxy based paint on the skis
