Spray painting skis

so i have last years hhp's and i hate how theres that wierd picture of henrik on the tail. i was thinking of spraypainting some design over it to make it look alot better. i would obviously tape up the edges and not get any paiint on the base but my question is will spray paint stick to the topsheet or will that not work?

First of all you're crazy, the graphics are dope.Second, you should be fine if you protect the bases and use painters tape for your design. You will want some sort of glossy finish over your paint too, so it won't chip. Probably polyeurathane

3y back i sprayed a tree onto some scott p4s, just roughened the topsheet a little, with a bit of sandpaper, then gently removed all dirt and grease with a drop of acetone on a rag (be careful with thinners and shit like this, use it very careful cause it will "eat" through plastic in no time, or could make nasty stains ...)

then i just sprayed on the stencil , let it dry, then cleaned + roughened it again, and sprayed over

a clear coat, 4 layers, today the tree is still going strong, and i only had to do minor aesthetic patchups around the edge of the ski...

Spray painting your HHPs is so Ninth Ward. I would do it just dont do a good job it will be sweet if it looks like you just don't give a fuck
