spray painting skis

im gonna redo my old skis and was wondering, should i put a primer on first before i spraypaint?

i actually endorse drug use. i dont do them myself, but i think it acts as a form of natural selection.

depends on what panit you use, i just did mine with panit made for plasic. It was like 3.70 per can.

I cant spell so get use to it or il spork you to death

Didnt like the red and white to much, but its still sick. You think that could work with scratches? The way the top sheet is. I would also like to know how well that paint stayed on the ski.

 
i have a friend who painted his skis gold...he sanded the top sheet to rough em up a bit, and the paint has stayed really well

sand down, primer, leave. sand again, paint, leave. repeat twice (not the primer bit) then use a lacquer. result.....

my brother did his up all scotty whittlake style. looks pretty good. ill post a pic in a minute

using stencils works too, without all that shiny finish, but those are still sick

ummm yeah by leave he means let it set over night. but beteween coats like 15-30 min depend on paint

i had the best idea.... glue sequens or some other shiny thing on every inch of the topsheet of your ski... it would be the best idea ever, im guna do it someday

i got some armada ar7 (the prototype armadas) would anyone here paint them? r they worth anythin do u think?
