Spray painting boots

I spray painted my boots today with plastic spray paint, seems to have worked out pretty well so far.

Took them out while i painted the first time, then painted part of the liners. this last layer i forgot to take them out.

yeah, he used the plastic spray paint so he should be set. You should probably put on like 2 or 3 coats of clear spray paint, won't chip as fast.

when you do anything, like landing a jump they WILL crack so bad, unless you sanded down the plastic, laquerd it, spraed 2 coats sanding in between and finished with a clear coat of 'finish' then you'd be ok, but they would still chip a little.

I sanded and sprayed multiple layers. I expect them to chip a bit and generally be haggered by The end of the season. I need new boots anyway just can't afford them right now

Probably wont sell them after this season... truth is i shouldnt even be riding on them, they need to be replaced not because they are old but because they are warn out after only two seasons which blows.

I liked the performance but they didnt fit me right so I had about 3hrs to try stuff before I would be in pain and not be able to handle the 1-2ft drop off of a box. Idk how my shop thought they fit me. I kinda lost faith in them and winged it and full tilts just happened to be perfect.

Oh and theres only 2 shops around. That one cant fit boots for their life and the other fucked my TNKs up and had to buy me new skis...

Three things I think of when I see Yellow and Green and I hate all three of them...

Green Bay Packers(I like the Bears)

Oregon Ducks(BSU Plays them, always a big rival)

Borah High School(Rival to my high school)

Plus I will be skiing with you next year.

Sigh

did you read any other posts? I didnt even want to have to use these boots this year but i cant afford a new pair. If they chip i could really care less. It is more of a test to see how the plastic paint holds up. If they do great and last the season (most likely not) then i might consider using the plastic spray paint on other boots in the future.

its hilarious that you cared enough to spray paint your boots to match your outerwear and bandana. ever since full tilt people actually care what their boots look like.

You sound like one of my old coaches. An argument against this is if you feel better about your equipment you tend to perform better at any sport that you are in. I happen to want my boots to match my outerwear, if you dont, thats your thing. Personally i think it looks sweet, so im going to do it. Its not like im buying boots to match my outerwear.
