^Yeah it comes off i painted my skis and the paint came off, if you give em like 15 coats like i did my skis it might work.

Buy special spray paint at the hard warre store meant for plastic

You will always be in my heart Nantucket

itll work like shit the plastic paint people try to use its on like car bumpers which i think would get less abuse than boots

......because skiing needs a new hair cut

If you're serious its going to take some time and effort for it to work right.

Step 1: Get some sandpaper and sand down everything you want it to stick to. Probably like 300 grit paper.

Step 2: Dupli-Color has stuff called Adhesion Promoter. I got mine at Adavance Autoparts but they mostlikely have it at other auto parts stores. you might not have to use that stuff but i advise it.

Step 3: Krylon makes paint called FUSION its made to stick to plastics and stuff better than other paints. They sell it at Wal-Mart or any auto parts store.

Step 4: Buy some clear coat paint and do a couple of coats on top of the color.

IMPORTANT: Let all paint coats dry completely before appying more. some people will do it all in a short period of time and the different paints will all mix together just create a sticky paint job that will just scrape off

this is not a signature.

be aware that some paints/treatments can damage/soften plastic(even stuff made for plastic) and of course your warranty will be done....

ya that would work...but ima add 2 steps...1st step will be clean the boots with soap and water then let them dry...then what he said then after u sand clean with soap and water again then let dry

It took me seventeen years to get three thousand hits in baseball. I did it in one afternoon on the golf course.

I painted mine - black/whiste/chrome camo - turned out so nice. I sanded them cpmpletely and it bonded alright but I think it would have chipped. I dovered them with that clear plastic wrap you use to cover school books and you can't even see it's on top. It worked great.

what is this plastic stuff u speak of?

You must know the stuff. It's a thin sheet of adhiesive plastic sheeting used to cover books and such.

i've never covered text books before so i have no idea what you are talking about

i did the same thing. just get a paint specifically for bonding to plastics. make sure its an outdoor paint. you can get a static charge paint, but its pretty expensive. you should ise a wool cloth to rub down the skis, then paint them

The real secret: like it was said before sand the area youre painting with 300 grit sandpaper. wash and clean area, spray with primer, and use KRYLON plastic bond spraypaint. then go to the hardware store and buy some clear coat. it comes in 2 tubes like epoxy and then you mixx it and slather it on, over the paint job. then you get a blowdryer or blowtorch and put it up to the skis as they dry to get the bubbles to pop, then you need to let the stuff set for 72 hours. and there you go, you get a bombproof and scratchproof paint job, plus you get a really glossy ski thats a little heavier and a little stiffer.
