yea that was a little dramatized. That is a very rare case when some guy just snaps for absolutley no reason, and then she just deals with it. If the guy hits a girl its for soemthing more serious than that, it would be in an argument or soemthing like that.

To be honest the comercial almost makes a joke out of it. I agree that abusing a woman is complete horsehit and should enver be allowed, but that comercial is ridiculous.

if you guys think that's exaggerated, that's a good thing I guess. But guess what, shit like that happens more often than you want to think.

ya im sure it happens all the time, some times yes its more serious than a cup of coffee but then the girl will get beat worse
 
C'mon, everyone knows spousal abuse is a serious issue, however, the moral of that clip was, if you serve coffee for a living you should be more careful. I mean she was practically asking for him to do that by spilling the coffee on him. The same way that any girl wearing a mini-skirt or a halter top is just asking to get banged out.(just kidding). Seriously though, spill some coffee on someone at Jimmy's Uptown(NYC) and what you'll be lucky if you are still alive when all is said and done.
 
that almost desensitizes the public. if people see exxagerated shit like that on TV it makes the real shit seem less as violent you know. Overall i think the ad is bad, and ineffective
 
yeah, like the pot ad where the kid gets high and starts looking down the barrel of his dad's gun. The screen goes blank and you hear the gun shot follow by some stupid text like "Marijuana causes bad desicion making,"(well that wasn't it, but it was something stupid) That shit does not help their cause at all.
 
did anyone notice the title of this thread got changed? it was like "i'm gonna do this to my wife" or something. i thought that was entertaining
 
She should have fucking listened, that's what she should have done. Other than that, it's like what? A commercial for Starbucks?
