i know thats kind of a dumb question, but I seem to have a huge problem spotting my landings, i loose track in the air and forget where I am then go off axis and flail, and ya basically i need some advice on spotting landings better.

yeah same i can never rele spot my landing until right before or after i landand on 540's i always spot at 360 and then cant push the extra 180

pick a spot downhill like a rail or tree or somthing and just focus on that until you can see it in your mind. Then when you pop throw your head around and lock on to that spot as fast as you can.

this is called air awareness. To over come this all you need is.... and are your ready for this.. time in the air. No joke you got to be doing cartwheels, hand springs, hand stands, flipping in to the pool, standing spins. The more you do this stuff the more your smart little brain will take in and do all the math for you. Not to mention that deep visualization, no joke man. Land it in your head b4 the hill. Think about the things you would see in a 3 or what ever trick sitting here right now. for me doing a 3 i would see computer, wall, wall , TV . I know this with out looking. Ya get what im saying.

Turpin is dead on about that...I used to have the same problem, I felt like I would "blackout" during my rotations then regain consciousness right before I land. I found the best way to work on your air awareness is to practice spinning on a trampoline. Get some huge bounce-age going then start throwing 3s, 5s, 7s and have a looksy at whats goin down around you i.e. your dog shittin in your moms tomato garden.

set pop look around your sholder at the horizen if you are landing swich look up the hill if you are landing forward look at the landing
